KENORA -- Police have arrested and charged a man on Monday following a report of mischief to property.
OPP officials were called to Railway Street in Kenora around 7:30 p.m. where two men had broken the automated cash box at a car wash.
The two suspects fled on foot but were located within minutes and after a short foot chase, one of the males was arrested by police.
The OPP canine unit was called to assist with locating the second suspect, but the suspect was not found.
As a result of the investigation, the man has been charged with mischief under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and theft under $5,000.
The second male is described as an Indigenous male, with a shaved head and facial hair.
The investigation is ongoing.
