An underwater search by police has turned up the remains of an Atikokan man who went missing months ago.
OPP North West Region Emergency Response Team members with assistance from the Underwater Search and Recovery unit discovered the remains of 49-year-old Eric Natti on Thursday.
Natti was reported missing when he failed to arrive at work on November 21, 2011.
Police narrowed down their search to the Miller Lake area but were prevented from searching even further because of cold weather and ice conditions.
OPP have notified the next of kin and a post mortem examination was conducted at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center on Friday.
