Police have located a missing elderly couple after they were stranded in the middle of a lake for more than a day.
The last time anyone someone saw the couple was on May 21 when they did not return to their campsite at Pine Point Resort. The couple had gone boating on Lac Des Milles Lacs.
The North West Region Emergency Response Team with the assistance of a Ministry of Natural Resources Helicopter Unit located the couple on the lake at approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday.
They had trouble with the boat motor.
OPP say the couple was found in good health, but was checked by ambulance personnel as a precautionary measure.
