There were no new fires confirmed in the Northwest Region by the afternoon of July 19.
The forest fire hazard is low to moderate across the region with some areas of high in the western sectors and the eastern sectors. There is rain in the forecast which may ease the hazard in some locations.
There are five active fires in the northern sectors of the region. All are listed as being observed.
• Two in the Nipigon District
• Two in the Sioux Lookout District
• One in the Red Lake District
