THUNDER BAY – City police say another 89 tickets were handed out to local motorists along the Harbour Expressway construction zone.
A recent Facebook post published Thursday morning titled ‘They’re Almost Done. Maybe Friday?’ served as another reminder that the Thunder Bay Police Service was watching the construction zones carefully.
“There were no vehicles hooked to the 'pound, but we had a couple that bounced off the crossbar at 95 km/hr,” the post reads. “Where were all of these people for the past week?
“They don't follow the news or.....ahem, follow us on Facebook? It seems that some of them need some friends to share some of the posts that we've put out so that they'd have a few bucks left to spend on an iced coffee or a couple dozen minnows.”
