Morning break-in

THUNDER BAY -- City police are investigating the early morning break-in of a convenience store. Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service responded to an alarm at the Mac's Convenience Store at 550 Beverly Street just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

THUNDER BAY -- City police are investigating the early morning break-in of a convenience store.

Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service responded to an alarm at the Mac's Convenience Store at 550 Beverly Street just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers at the scene found that a glass door was broken. Video of the incident shows a man taking cigarettes and then leaving the store.

Police are now looking for a suspect described as a 30-year-old Aboriginal man. The suspect has a slim build and a mustache.

The suspect wore a dark winter jacket with a hood, dark cargo pants and work boots at the time of the robbery.
