THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay OPP say a motorcyclist died Monday night in a two-vehicle collision at Lappe in Gorham Township.
The victim was driving on Dog Lake Road (Highway 589) just after 10:30 p.m. when the biker's motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck westbound on Kam Current Road.
OPP say the operator of the pickup truck failed to stop at the stop sign.
The identity of the man, who was pronounced dead in hospital, is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Randall Nault,31, of Thunder Bay was arrested on charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and failure to provide a breath sample.
He was held in custody overnight pending a video court appearance.
