THUNDER BAY -- Rickey Chemerika, 58, died Sunday in a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway north of Lake Superior.
Ontario Provincial Police said Chemerika—from Grimsby, Ontario—was riding a motorcycle that came into collision with an SUV about 50 kilometres south of Wawa just after 9:30 a.m.
The 27-year-old driver from Hamilton has been charged with careless driving.
She's scheduled to appear in court in September.
