Shuniah fire crews were busy fighting a blaze at the Mount Baldy Ski Hill Thursday evening.
Firefighters responded to the call before 9 p.m. about a chalet on top of one of the hills that was apparently fully engulfed in flames.
Few details are available and the cause is still unknown, but Shuniah fire chief Blair Arthur told CKPR Radio during an interview that an investigation was ongoing.
“There were no utilities to the building at all,” Arthur said. “So there were no sources of ignition inside the building.”
