THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay MP Patty Hajdu has been added to a pair of cabinet committees.
The labour minister is now chair of the open, transparent government committee.
Hajdu said it looks at responses to House of Commons reports and how they will get various pieces of legislation through the House.
“My role is, first of all, to make sure that everybody has an opportunity to speak to the various issues that come to that table, that we have a system and a flow, and that the information gets sent back to main cabinet in an orderly way,” Hajdu said.
Hajdu is also now a member of the agenda, results and communications cabinet committee.
