THUNDER BAY -- A man robbed a south side restaurant with a knife on Saturday during the dinner hour.
Thunder Bay Police officers received a call regarding a robbery that had just occurred at Mr. Chinese Restaurant on Arthur Street just before 7 p.m.
Staff reported a male entered the business with his face covered and demanded money at the front counter while holding a knife in his hand.
The suspect took an undisclosed sum of money from the cash drawer and got away in a waiting car.
No staff or patrons were injured in the incident.
Police believe they have identified the man responsible for the robbery and are currently attempting to locate him as a suspect.
The investigation continues.
