A multi-vehicle collision has led police to close Highway 11/17 between Kenora and Vermillion Bay.
OPP on Thursday morning said icy conditions led to the collisions, which involved 14 tractor trailers. The incident occurred near Nelson Granite Road. Emergency crews, including police, fire and paramedics attended the scene. Injuries were minor.
The highway was closed just before 2 a.m. The highway remains closed Thursday morning, though officials say motorists can bypass it via a detour.
