THUNDER BAY -- With the bow-hunting season starting Sept. 1, a city official says it may take a few years to work out all the problems with the hunt.

Around 90 people attended city's information session on the new deer bow-hunt held at Confederation College on Thursday. Council passed the by-law in an effort to curb the number of deer and human altercations.

City Licensing and Enforcement Manager Ron Bourret estimated that it may take three to four years to work out the kinks, but added that this will still be a positive year.
