An East End man has been charged with assault after allegedly chasing a neighbour with a pick axe.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident began with a verbal confrontation between two neighbours on Hargrave Street.
It is alleged a 55-year-old man entered his home and came back with a pick axe and chased a 39-year-old man in the area.
Police arrested the 55-year-old man just before 1 p.m. Monday.
He has been charged with assault with a weapon and remains in police custody.
No one was injured in the incident.
