Police say an armed man recently broke into a south-side apartment and threatened the woman occupant. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service said Tuesday that the man entered the South Vickers Street apartment with a knife.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service said Tuesday that the man entered the South Vickers Street apartment with a knife. The woman occupying the apartment told investigating officers that she did not know the intruder.
A neighbour heard the commotion and was able to scare off the would-be attacker.
No arrests have been made and police have not revealed any other details.
