RED ROCK, Ont. – Ray Rivard is no longer chair of the Live from the Rock Folk Festival.
The festival board held its annual general meeting over the weekend. During that AGM a new board of directors was chosen for the annual event, which takes place in Red Rock in August.
“A whole new board of directors was voted in,” said Red Rock mayor Gary Nelson in an interview with CFNO Radio.
“It’s going to be a lot of hard work … but this event will go on during the second weekend of August, the same as every other year.”
Liz Harvey-Foulds was welcomed as the new festival chair Saturday.
