THUNDER BAY - The New Directions Speaker's School is honouring their latest class of graduates at city hall on Tuesday.
The 14-week course runs twice a year and teaches public speaking and leadership skills in with peer support and focused on social justice. The program is available to anyone who is an injured worker or living in poverty or facing other economic challenges and attempts to persevere through those hurdles.
The graduation ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.
