THUNDER BAY - Theatre lovers in Thunder Bay have a new play to enjoy this summer at Chippewa Park.

It’s a melodrama called "A Beavers Tale" or "The One Wee Wife of Wes Fort".

The play is being staged by Rob MacLeod's Capitol Players.

It features a script penned by a local playwright who goes under the pen-name T-T Lucky and is performed by local actors.

Co-Founder and Producer Colin Stewart said the acting troupe has been performing at Chippewa Park for the past seven years and looks forward to this year.

Stewart added that there is a little bit of everything for all ages in the play including some audience interaction.

The show runs until July 28. Show times are Sundays at 4 p.m. and Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children, kids five and under are free.
