The New York Times' Ian Austen stopped in at Thunder Bay's Hoito restaurant, running an article Tuesday that chronicles its labour-movement history along with its most famous dish, the Finnish pancake. The Times even dubbed the restaurant "arguably Canada's most famous pancake house".

The article also features photographs by local photographer Izabela Pioro.
