Newswatch launches national news, sports package

Tbnewswatch.com introduced its new national news and national sports sections Tuesday.

The new sections, which features news and images from the Canadian Press, are now a permanent part of tbnewswatch.com’s content package. Stories of national importance will now be featured on tbnewswatch.com on a daily basis and will be updated regularly as news happens.

The main national sections are located on the homepage beside the local sections. Users can access the top five national news and sports stories from this section. Users can also access these new sections by using the navigation bar, which located on the top of any tbnewswatch.com page.

Clicking the news or sports tab of the navigation bar will bring the user to the main local story of that section. From there, users can see a secondary navigation bar located right below the main navigation menu. The secondary navigation bar will allow users to jump between the local and national sections.

Users will have the ability to comment on many of the national news and sports stories they read, just as they can now in the local sections.
