While not a part of the federal government’s cabinet, MP Greg Rickford (Con. Kenora) does have some new duties.
Rickford, who won his re-election bid during the May 2 federal election, has been named the Tory’s parliamentary secretary for FedNor and secretary for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency.
In addition to the new posting, Rickford will keep his position as parliamentary secretary for Aboriginal affairs and northern development.
