THUNDER BAY -- If you were hoping an end to the recent cold snap was just around the corner, then you’re going to be disappointed.
According to the updated long range forecast, the city can expect to see overnight lows between -20C and -30C for the next seven days.
While daytime highs may appear mild next week in comparison to this week’s ongoing extreme cold, -12C Friday and Saturday along with -13C and -11C next Wednesday Thursday respectively are expected to be the warmest moments of the week.
Sunday, while expected to be sunny, features a daytime high of -20C. That’s without any wind chill factor.
