THUNDER BAY - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is declaring a non-COVID-19 respiratory outbreak at Southbridge Pinewood Court.
The outbreak is affecting the Sandpiper unit only and restrictions have been put in place.
People are reminded to stay home when feeling unwell and to avoid vulnerable congregate settings such as long-term care facilities or hospitals.
Preventing the spread of infections also requires that people continue to wash their hands, stay home when feeling unwell, and to get the flu shot.
