THUNDER BAY -- The Northern Ontario Service Deliverer's Association, or NOSDA, kicked off its annual general meeting here in Thunder Bay Wednesday evening.
NOSDA brings together organizations who deal with Ontario Works, child care fee subsidies, social housing, and homelessness prevention programs throughout the North.
The meeting will include numerous panels, where social service boards representatives can discuss their shared problems.
Gary Scripnick, a former Timmins city councillor and current NOSDA chair, says one focus of this year's discussion is homelessness.
The NOSDA annual general meeting will run until Friday.
