Northwestern Health Unit reports five new COVID-19 cases

KENORA, Ont. – There are five new cases of COVID-19 being reported by the Northwestern Health Unit.

On Tuesday, the health unit said there is one new case in the Dryden Health Hub, one new positive result in the Kenora Health Hub and three in the Sioux Lookout Health Hub.

There are currently 35 active cases in the Northwestern Health Unit’s catchment area, including 16 in Sioux Lookout, 10 in Kenora and nine in Dryden.

Since the pandemic began there have been 683 confirmed cases in the region, with 648 considered to be resolved.
