Occupants escape serious injury after vehicle overturns

Thunder Bay Police laid a charge against the driver of a second vehicle.

THUNDER BAY — Police said an adult female and an undisclosed number of children escaped serious injury in a two-vehicle collision on the south side Wednesday.

A spokesperson said the vehicle they were in flipped over after it was struck by another passenger vehicle at the intersection of Northern Avenue and Harold Crescent.

They were taken to hospital for assessment as a precaution.

The driver of the second vehicle was charged with a turning violation.

Police said a third vehicle, which was parked, was also damaged in the incident.
