THUNDER BAY – The City of Thunder Bay has received a $636,962 payment from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, it’s first-quarter non-tax gaming revenue allotment.

Since 2000, the city has received more than $41.3 million in payments through the program.

“OLG gaming site revenue provided to host communities help invest in infrastructure projects and important local programs and services which benefit Ontario families,” said Bill Mauro, MPP for Thunder Bay-Atikokan in a release issued by OLG on Friday.

“Along with supporting local development, these funds directly benefit Ontario’s public services such as health care and education.”
