One man charged, Oxycodone seized in drug bust

(BEARDMORE, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Greenstone Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), Nishinabee Aski Police Service (NAPS), and Anishinabek Police Service (APS) have charged a male following an ongoing investigation into the distribution of Oxycodone in the Municipality of Greenstone. 

Police seized a number Ocycodone pills with a street value of $1200

As a result of the investigation, a 58 year old Jack TIMMERMANS of Beardmore, Ontario was arrested on June 16, 2015. 

He has been charged with Trafficking a Schedule 1 Substance–Oxycodone (3 counts) contrary to section 5(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA), and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (3 counts) contrary to section 354 of the Criminal Code.

The accused was released and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Geraldton on August 13, 2015 to answer to the charges.
