One man dead, another missing on Lake of the Woods

One man is dead and a search is underway for another person following a boating incident on Lake of the Woods. OPP police officers were called Monday night when the pair failed to return as expected from a fishing trip in the Morson area of the lake.

One man is dead and a search is underway for another person following a boating incident on Lake of the Woods.

OPP police officers were called Monday night when the pair failed to return as expected from a fishing trip in the Morson area of the lake.

On Tuesday, searchers located their capsized boat and found the body of one of the two men washed up on shore.

The OPP's underwater search and rescue unit is expected to join the search for the second man Thursday.
