A section of John Street Road was closed for a portion of Wednesday after a morning collision between a minivan and front-end loader that sent a 21-year-old man to hospital with critical injuries.
The road, between Mapleward Road and Community Hall Road, has since been cleared, with both vehicles towed away for further investigation
Police are seeking witnesses to the incident, or anyone with relevant information to help with the investigation.
The 61-year-old driver of the front-end loader was uninjured in the collision.
