Ontario’s new cabinet will have a meeting in Northern Ontario.
The cabinet meeting will be held in Sault Ste. Marie on March 1. It's part of cabinet's attempt to focus on the interests of Northern Ontario communities. The government has made a commitment to address issues like transportation needs in the North.
That includes vital access in and out of the Ring of Fire.
The government will also create a Northern cabinet committee.
That move is being made to keep the growth plan for Northern Ontario on track.
