THUNDER BAY -- The provincial government has launched a new online survey to find out how the public thinks they should deal with the legalization of marijuana.
The federal government will legalize pot by next July and Ontario Attorney General Yasir Naqvi said it will mark a big change in the country.
Naqvi added Ontario is now trying to decide how it will handle the distribution, sale, and consumption of marijuana. Along with the priorities in making those decisions are protecting youth, preventing harm and ensuring Ontario roads are safe.
Those wishing to provide input can fill in an online survey from now through July 31.
The province is also planning several public forums through the summer to discuss the impact the legalization of pot will have.
