An Ontario man has been fined $1,500 for possessing an illegally killed deer.
Randy St. Pierre of Morson pleaded guilty to possessing illegally killed wildlife. In addition to the fine, he is banned from hunting in the province for a year.
The court heard that in November 2011, conservation officers went to St. Pierre's home where they saw two deer hanging in an outside building. The deer did not have tags.
Justice of the Peace Ronald Black heard the case on Oct. 11, 2012.
