THUNDER BAY - Thunder Bay's newest opera company is debuting their first staged production tomorrow night after a successful gala concert in January.
Opera Northwest is presenting its first production, Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro".
More than thirty people are involved in running the show, including five members of the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra.
Artistic Director Theresa Thibert said their gala in January had an extremely positive response from the community.
She added they held auditions shortly after that, and have been preparing for this show ever since.
The Marriage of Figaro will be on stage at Magnus Theatre this Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at various locations or at the door.
