NIPIGON, Ont – Ontario Provincial Police have a 31-year-old man in custody facing various break and enter charges.

Between June 26 and July 17, the Nipigon detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received three reports of break and enter and thefts from an Ontario government storage facility on Highway 11.

Police, in a release issued Wednesday, say outboard boat motors, various electronic devices, a 16-foot boat with a trailer and a snowblower were stolen from the facility.

The investigation revealed six separate break and enters had occurred during this time and a suspect was identified.

On Sunday, a search warrant was executed at a Rocky Bay residence where property from the break and enters were recovered.

The 31-year-old from Rocky Bay was arrested and charged and he remains in custody.
