SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. -- A Lac Seul First Nation man is facing a murder charge in the death of a 40-year-old man in Sioux Lookout last year.
Provincial police arrested 32-year-old Allen Yerxa on Wednesday, charging him with second-degree murder in the September 2018 death of George Tait.
Tait, from Sachigo Lake First Nation, was found injured in Sioux Lookout in the area of Seventh Avenue and Roy Lane on Sept. 5. Tait later died from those injuries.
Yerxa remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear by video in Dryden court on April 3.
