THUNDER BAY - A woman from Gorham Township is facing a pair of charges for driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, an officer patrolling Highway 11/17 on July 26 observed a vehicle driving erratically near the John Street intersection.
The vehicle was pulled over and the officer determined the driver had been consuming alcohol. A 58-year-old woman of Gorham Township was transported to the detachment for further tests and arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol.
She will make a court appearance in Thunder Bay on Oct. 2.
