OPP expands investigation into disappearance of Bradley Kirkrude Jr.

FORT FRANCES, ON — The OPP's Forensic Identification Services Unit has now joined the investigation into the disappearance of a 26-year-old resident of Big Island First Nation Territory.

Bradley Kirkrude Jr. was first reported missing on Oct. 8, after he was last seen leaving a residence on the First Nation, located in the Morson area northwest of Fort Frances.

He is five feet, seven inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and has a medium build.

Kirkrude was last seen wearing a brown 'Fox' baseball hat, a black hoody with a blue stripe, black sweatpants with two white stripes, and black and white Nike shoes.

The Rainy River District OPP Crime Unit, the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team, and Treaty Three Police are also involved in the search.

Anyone with information concerning this missing person is asked to contact the OPP, or Crime Stoppers anonymously. 

Police say a cash reward of up to $2,000 may be available.
