THUNDER BAY – OPP are asking for the public’s assistance as they investigate a theft from a business on Alcona Drive.

According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, a group of seven individuals on Sept. 29 around 8 p.m. gained access to a storage facility adjacent to the business and removed frozen M&M Meats products.

Police say the retail value of the items taken totals more than $1,000.

The OPP is requesting anyone with information about this occurrence contact the Sioux Lookout Detachment at 807-737-2020 or 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
