OPP are investigating a robbery at a business on Highway 17.

UPSALA, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a robbery at a business on Highway 17.

According to a release, police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred Wednesday at a business located on Highway 17, east of Upsala.

Police say a male and female entered the business around 8:50 p.m. The male suspect struck a female employee and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

The employee was not injured and did not require medical attention.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing a black hat and the female suspect is described as Caucasian, with a ponytail.

The suspects were driving in a dark coloured pickup truck and were reported driving eastbound on Highway 17.
