OPP News Release
(Dryden and Machin, ON) – Between June 17th, 2015 and June 26th, 2015, members of the Dryden Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have been called upon to investigate 4 occurrences involving break and enters committed to rural residential properties in the Dryden and Machin area.
Officers are conducting a thorough investigation into this rash of incidents.
The OPP remind and encourage homeowners to lock their residences and secure their outbuildings. If homeowners are going to be away for any time, arrange to have someone periodically check the property.
The OPP also encourages homeowners to keep watch for suspicious activities and / or vehicles in their neighbourhoods, take note of license plates, color, make and model and report to police such activity.
Members of the public who have any information regarding these break and enters are urged to call the OPP Provincial Communications Center (PCC) at 1-888-310-1122 or anonymously to Crimestoppers at 1-800-222- TIPS (8477).
Working together with the community, the Dryden OPP hopes to bring charges against those who perpetrated these crimes.
