SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. -- The death of a 40-year-old man who was found injured in Sioux Lookout is being investigated as a homicide.
Emergency services were called to reports of an injured man on Wednesday night on Seventh Avenue and Roy Lane in Sioux Lookout. The man was transported to medical services and pronounced dead.
Provincial police identified the victim as George Tait from Sachigo Lake First Nation.
A post-mortem had been scheduled to take place at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora on Friday.
