KENORA, Ont. -- Provincial police are investigating a suspicious death in the SIoux Narrows community.
Officials with the OPP say Kenora detachment officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man located in the Apache and Totem Roads area of Sioux Narrows . Paramedics attended the scene and the man was pronounced deceased.
The 60-year-old male is not being identified at this time pending notification of next of kin.
A post mortem examination was conducted in Kenora on February 9, 2015 however the results are not being released at this time. The death is being treated as suspicious.
The Kenora OPP and the OPP North West Region Crime Unit under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Heida of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch with the assistance of the Kenora OPP Forensic Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
