ATIKOKAN, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help following a theft from a vehicle in Atikokan.
According to a media release issued by the OPP, officers responded to reports of a theft from a vehicle on Jan. 3. The vehicle was parked in the downtown area of Atikokan and it is believed the theft took place sometime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Police said approximately $700 was stolen from the vehicle.

The public is reminded to lock vehicles doors when not in use.
