Pay attention and keep your eyes on the road at all times.
That’s a reminder from the OPP, who are starting a distracted driving campaign to advise drivers to not only abstain from using electronic devices but other activities that draw attention from the roads.
Drivers are urged to let phone calls go to voicemail, don’t text or check emails while driving and to set the GPS destination before leaving.
The OPP is also asking drivers to avoid grooming activities such as applying makeup and combing hair and to ignore other distractions in a vehicle.
