OPP lay charges after serious collision in January

At the time of the collision, the passenger in the car was brought to the hospital with life-altering injuries. 

THUNDER BAY — Provincial police have laid charges from a collision that occurred on Highway 102 on Jan. 6. 

OPP were called to the collision at approximately 12:30 p.m. 

It involved a transport truck and a passenger motor vehicle. 

Police have charged the driver of the passenger vehicle, a 20-year-old from Fort Frances, with dangerous operation and impaired driving. 

At the time of the collision, the passenger in the motor vehicle was brought to the hospital with life-altering injuries. 

The accused has been released from custody with a future court date.
