OPP lay half a dozen charges against Alberta man

Arrest followed complaints about vehicle driven erratically

DRYDEN, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police took a motorist into custody Sunday after reports of a vehicle weaving in and out of traffic on Highway 17 east of Dryden.

A 45-year-old Red Deer, Alberta man was charged with six offences.

The charges include possession of property obtained by crime, driving while disqualified, possession of methamphetamine, failure to provide a breath sample, failure to comply with a court recognizance and possession of a firearm or ammunition.

The accused man was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Sioux Lookout.
