OPP make meth bust in Fort Frances, man arrested

(FORT FRANCES, ON) - On the 21st of March, 2016, members of the Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) and the North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on 1200 Block of Kings Highway in The Town of Fort Frances.

As a result of the investigation A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

A quantity of Crystal Meth and Marijuana was seized as a result.  

The accused is to appear in court on the 16th of May, 2016 to answer to the charges.
