(GREENSTONE, ON) – Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) Inspector, Provincial Constable Brian Frost of Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) together with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) enforcement officers conducted a three day blitz between Monday, July 25, 2016 and Wednesday, July 27, 2016 focusing on logging trucks in the Greenstone area.
This initiative consisted of 14 complete CMV inspections resulting in 23 charges, with 8 vehicles being put out of service and 1 plate removal.
Greenstone OPP would like to thank the MTO for their co-operation in making commercial motor vehicle safety a priority.
