GREENSTONE, Ont – A Quebec man has been arrested and charged with impaired driving.
Ontario Provincial Police received a call from a tow truck operator on Tuesday afternoon reporting a possible impaired driver.
The tow truck operator had come across a tractor-trailer unit that had become stuck when it sunk into the soft shoulder on the westbound side of Highway 11 between Heart and Greenstone.
Police attended the location and detected signs of intoxication from the trailer driver.
The driver was arrested for impaired care and control of a motor vehicle.
He will appear in Geraldton court on Nov. 2 to answer to the charges.
